In the name of Allah, the Merciful
Mr. President, Heads of State and Government, dignitaries, delegates, ladies and gentlemen, Peace be upon you and may God's mercy and blessings be upon you!
1. Recitation of the Holy Quran
2. It is a great honor for me to address the United Nations General Assembly for the second time, as the Prime Minister of a country that has always been an active member of the United Nations family.
3. I congratulate and wish you, Mr. President, on your election as President of the United Nations General Assembly at its 79th session.
4. I also thank Ambassador Dennis Francis for his skillful leadership of the 78th session.
Mr. President,
5. The founder of our country, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, declared in 1947 that "We stand by the United Nations Charter and will offer our full services for the peace and prosperity of the world." has always been maintained.
6. Today we are facing the most challenging issues in the world system: Israel's genocidal war in Gaza; dangerous conflict in Ukraine; devastating conflicts in Africa and Asia; increasing geopolitical tensions; re-emerging terrorism; escalating poverty; The debt quagmire, and the growing effects of climate change. We are feeling the chills of a new Cold War!
7. In response to these challenges, our Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, called for a future conference. As a result, 54 measures on development, peace and security, technology and global governance were adopted in the future agreement.
Mr. President,
8. I stand before you today to express the deep sorrow and pain of the people of Pakistan over the suffering of the people of Gaza. Our hearts bleed as we witness a tragedy unfolding in the Holy Land, a tragedy that shakes the conscience of humanity and the foundation of this institution.
Mr. President,
9. Can we as human beings remain silent while children are buried under the rubble of their destroyed homes? Can we ignore mothers carrying the lifeless bodies of their children in their arms? This is not just a conflict; It is systematic massacre of innocent people; It is an attack on the essence of human life and dignity. The blood of Gaza's children not only stains the hands of the oppressors, but also those who are complicit in prolonging this cruel conflict.
10. We undermine our humanity when we ignore their endless suffering. It is not enough to simply condemn; We must act now and demand an immediate end to this bloodshed. We must remember that the innocent sacrifices of the Palestinians will never be in vain.
11. We must work for lasting peace through a two-state solution. We must seek a viable, secure, continuous and sovereign Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, with Al Quds al-Sharif as its capital. And to advance these goals, Palestine must also be recognized as a full member of the United Nations immediately!
Mr. President,
12. Within days, Israel's continuous bombing of Lebanon killed more than 500 people, including women and even small children.
13. Failure to implement UN resolutions has made Israel more vulnerable. This threatens to drag the entire Middle East into a war with dire and unimaginable consequences.
Mr. President,
14. Like the people of Palestine, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been struggling for their freedom and right to self-determination for a century.
15. Instead of moving towards peace, India has backed away from its commitment to implement Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir. These resolutions mandate a plebiscite to enable the people of Jammu and Kashmir to exercise their fundamental right to self-determination.
16. Since 5 August 2019, India has initiated unilateral illegal measures to implement the "Final Solution" described by its leadership for Jammu and Kashmir.
17. Day and night, nine lakh Indian troops are terrorizing the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir with repressive measures, including long curfews, extrajudicial killings and abduction of thousands of Kashmiri youth.
18. 18. In a classic settler colonial project, India is seizing Kashmiri lands and properties in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and settling outsiders there, with the nefarious plan of turning the Muslim majority into a minority. To be given. This old tactic was adopted by all the occupying powers, but it always failed. It will fail in Jammu and Kashmir too, God willing!
Ladies and gentlemen!
19. The Kashmiri people are determined to reject the false Indian identity that New Delhi wants to impose on them. India's brutal coercive policy in Occupied Kashmir has ensured that Burhan Wani's legacy continues to influence the struggles and sacrifices of millions of Kashmiris. Inspired by the legitimacy of their struggle, they persevere. Their heart-wrenching stories remind us that behind every figure is a human life, a dream delayed and a hope shattered.
Ladies and gentlemen!
20. Pakistan will continue to support the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people against the illegal occupation by India. There is no doubt that the goal of freedom of Kashmiri people will be fulfilled.
21. The United Nations and its Secretary-General will play a key role in the implementation of Security Council resolutions to enable the people of Jammu and Kashmir to exercise their right to self-determination.
Mr. President,
22. India's illegal and unilateral actions have seriously threatened the peace and stability of South Asia. Peace cannot be established in South Asia until a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue is found in accordance with the UN resolutions.
23. The risk of war in South Asia is increasing as India is destabilizing the entire region through its aggressive and usurping policies. It is time for the international community to restrain India from its aggression.
Mr. President,
24. The world cannot be ruled by superpowers alone. We need a world order based on the principles of justice and equality. Nothing can be more destructive than the unbridled use of force. Geographical and political issues in all regions of the world should be resolved through dialogue and peace, not through war.
Ladies and gentlemen!
25. Pakistan will continue to provide all possible support for global peace and stability. We are a key part of the UN peacekeeping mission and we will always strive for peaceful resolution of conflicts.
26. We stand with the international community in the fight against terrorism. Pakistan has paid a heavy price in the war against terrorism, and we will continue our efforts to eradicate terrorism.
Mr. President,
27. Finally, I assure you that Pakistan will remain committed to the promotion of peace, development, and human rights at all UN fora.
28. We are committed to the principles of the United Nations Charter and we are ready to work with the international community based on these principles.
Thank you!
